Susan Maria Wood Crouch, age 64, of Cabot, passed away at home, with her family present, Sunday, January 13, 2013 after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Susan was the daughter of Margaret and Francis Wood and sister to Frank Wood and Kathy (Howard) Emhardt, all of Manahawkin, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Franklin Crouch, her brother, Frank Wood and her parents. Susan is survived by her husband, Eugene Crouch of Cabot; her son, Eugene Crouch Jr. and his wife, Moema and grandson, Thomas, all of Rome, Italy; and many nieces and nephews.

She was previously employed by the FBI in Philadelphia and served as secretary at Cabot United Methodist Church. For over 20 years, she taught private swimming lessons to many youths in the Cabot area and was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville.

At Sue's request, her body was donated to The Department of Neurobiology and Development at UAMS.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Cabot United Methodist Church, under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816. Please sign the online guestbook at
