Floyd Donald "Dink" Davenport

Floyd Donald "Dink" Davenport, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. A son of the late Wesley and Mary Rose Davenport, "Dink" was born in Monroe, Arkansas on July 6, 1948. He was united in marriage to Tereasia Caldwell on May 18, 1976. Dink was a 1966 graduate of Clarendon High School and was self employed working in the hay business, farming and custom surveying. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Monroe Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tereasia Davenport, daughter, Paula (Clete) Knight of Bartlett, TN, great-nephew (son), Bryan Grigsby, grandchildren, Kelsey Knight, Erin Knight, brothers, Ronald (Betty) Davenport, Dennis Davenport both of Monroe. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home, Brinkley. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Gospel Lighthouse in Moro. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery.
