Bobbie B. Atherton

Mr. Bobbie B. Atherton ("B.B.") of Little Rock passed away on January 15, 2013. Born August 2, 1921, in Sterling, Kansas, B.B. was retired from the U.S. Navy, having served in the Pacific in both World War II and the Korean War. B.B. was an avid bowler all his life and continued to bowl with his team, "B.B.'s Bombers," until shortly before his death. He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Norma Atherton; step-sons, George (Mary Ann) Gaudette of Ft. Madison, Iowa; Mike (Colleen) Gaudette of El Dorado, Arkansas; his son, Stephen (Deborah Sallings) Atherton of Wye Mountain, Arkansas; his daughter, Thanna Greer of Vidalia, Louisiana; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Atherton, and his brothers, Don Atherton and Darrell Atherton.
