Guy D. "Butch" Hendrix

Guy D. "Butch" Hendrix, 69, died on Thursday, January 17, 2013. He was born November 11, 1943 at the Hospital in Bauxite. Butch retired from Alcoa as a heavy equipment operator, member of New Life Church of God, member of Moose Lodge # 2567, a die-hard Elvis Presley fan, loved hunting, fishing, and camping, and coached softball at Sardis. He was also very proud to be a Watch Dog Dad at Pine Haven Elementary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Willis Hendrix and Helen Ruth Lemons Hendrix, daughter, Tina Renee Hendrix Quantz and an infant grandson. Survivors, wife, Brenda Sutton Hendrix, sons, Jeffery Hendrix, Benton; Guy Dustin Hendrix, Springdale; daughters, Guylann Hendrix California; Tonya Hendrix Ables, Bryant; Hailey Ables Hendrix, Bauxite; step-daughter, Becky Cockrell Mincy, White Hall; brother, Travis Odell Hendrix, Shannon Hills; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
