Louise Belknap

Louise Ross Belknap, 97, of Monticello, Ark., and formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life Sunday, January 12, 2013 in Monticello. Born in Chalybeate, Miss. to Walter and Lillian Ross, she was the eldest of six children. Louise lived in Blytheville from 1923 until March 1996, when she moved to Monticello. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Belknap; son, R.O. Belknap Jr.; siblings and their spouses, Elbert (Geraldine) Ross, Leroy (Billie) Ross, Bernice (Jimmy) Brown, Vadine (Hubert) Baldridge and Lorene (James) England and daughter in law, Darlene Belknap. Louise is survived by her children, Charlie Belknap and wife, Pat of Monticello and Eugene Belknap of Wynne, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. in Cobb Funeral Home.
