Roger Keith Hairston

Dr. Roger Keith Hairston, 53, of Texarkana, Ark., passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013. He was born April 22, 1959, in Little Rock to Dwain and Helen Hairston of Benton. He graduated from Benton High School and then served in the United States Air Force. Roger then attended U.A.L.R. and U.A.M.S., where he received a Doctor of Medicine Degree and interned in Pathology. He is survived by his parents; brother, Kent Hairston and wife, Darla of Williamsburg, Mich.; sister, Sherri Poe and husband, Tim of Benton; five nieces and nephews, Ryan Hairston, Keely Hairston, Rachel Poe Garner, Tim Poe Jr., Gillian Poe Heatley; one great neice, Linlee Garner.
