Joseph Brunner Neel

JOSEPH BRUNNER NEEL, age 59, of Little Rock and Breckenridge, Colo. lost his courageous battle with cancer on Jan. 12th, 2013. He is survived by his son Joseph Patrick Neel, two daughters Emily Neel Taylor and Rosemary Ahern Neel; their mother Kathleen Neel and brothers Robert "Tony" Neel of Little Rock and Dr. Michal D. Neel of Memphis, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents Ann Brunner Neel and Robert T. Neel, Sr. Joe was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He had recently retired from Vail Resorts as Trail Maintenance Supervisor and had previously been active in farming and the Agri Chemical business in Arkansas. A memorial service will be held in Breckenridge, Colo. at a later date and a celebration of his life will be held in Arkansas sometime this spring.In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Madonna Learning Center in Memphis, Tenn.
