Lisa Webb (Douglas) Murphy

Lisa Webb (Douglas) Murphy, age 61, of Conway, Ark., formerly of Little Rock and Ft. Smith, died Jan. 15, 2013 in Conway. She was born on March 28, 1951, in Ft. Smith to Tommy and Katy Webb. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Joseph Webb and granddaughter, MaKayla Murphy. Lisa was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She was blessed with a career as an RN that allowed her to care for babies, all of whom she loved dearly. She worked at Arkansas Children's Hospital in the NICU and as a dedicated NICU flight nurse on Angel Flight and later in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, and, as such, saved the lives of many children across the state. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, in Conway, and took much comfort from her faith. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Katherine Webb, of Olive Branch, MS and by her husband and best friend, Timothy J. Murphy, of Conway; sister, Kaye O'Hearn, and Gary, of Olive Branch, MS; brother, Don Webb, and Linda, of Los Gatos, Calif.; son, Bill Douglas, of Conway; daughter, Brandi Douglas Collins, and John, of Little Rock; stepson, LTC Tim P. Murphy, and Lisa B, of Platt City, Mo.; stepson, Mark Murphy, and Heather, of Knoxville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces, numerous cousins and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 20, from 5-7 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Dr., Conway, Ark., with Rosary to follow. Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m., also at Griffin Leggett. The family offers the option that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
