Margaret Makamson Sanders

Margaret Makamson Sanders, 73, of Bryant, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013. She was born in Rosedale, Miss. to Otis and Corrie Makamson on March 12, 1939. She spent her life making a home for her family and enjoyed reading and working in the yard. She was member of Grace Missionary Baptist in Little Rock, where she was a Sunday School teacher and nursery worker for many years. She is preceded in death by her father, Otis and her sister Shirley Kelly. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 41 years, Rodney; her daughter Laura O'Neal and her husband Raymond; her granddaughter Hannah O'Neal; her mother Corrie; her sister Patsy Peacock and her husband Wayne; her brother Wayne Makamson; her sister Joyce Randall and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Brother Patrick Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
