Mavis Pettey Paxton

MAVIS PETTEY PAXTON, 69, of North Little Rock, passed away Jan. 19, 2013. She was born July 18, 1943, in Devalls Bluff, Ark. to the late George and Avis Shumaker Pettey. She is survived by two brothers, Ensley Pettey (Peggy), Ivan Pettey (Brenda); one sister-in-law, Doris Pettey; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Paxton and brother, Jason Pettey. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the Peppers Lake Church of Christ in Devalls Bluff, Ark. Visitation will be held Monday from 6–7 p.m. at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 501-758-1170. Burial will be at Peppers Lake Cemetery in Devalls Bluff.
