Virgie Ruth Rogers Lefler

Virgie Ruth Rogers Lefler, 89, went home to be with her Lord on January 19, 2013. She was born on April 22, 1923 in Almyra, Arkansas and was a lifelong resident of Stuttgart. Virgie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Doug; her parents, Nelson and Lula Rogers and her sister, Donna Bluhm. She is survived by her sister, Verna Bluhm; sister and brother-in-law, Bona and Robert Bauman; her three children, Larry Lefler and wife Charlotte of Stuttgart, Sharon Coates and husband Jerry of Little Rock, and Lance Lefler and wife Lynn of Conway. She is adored and will be missed by her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Stuttgart. A graveside service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lone Tree Cemetery chapel. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Virgies's life at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church for friends and family.
