Raymond C. Hale, 78, of Sherwood, born February 15, 1934 in North Little Rock to parents, Morris and Ethel Hale, passed away peacefully on the evening of January 17, 2013. His wife and great friends were by his side. Ray had given 20 years to the U.S. Navy, followed by 26 years with the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. He loved the outdoors and always kept busy with woodwork or helping neighbors. The Kingdom has just received a wonderful soul. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles (Bill) Hale and Douglas Hale; and granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Wyatt. Raymond is survived by his wife, Connie Hale; his daughters, Teresa (Tony) Taylor, Teena (Jeff) Wyatt, and Terri Hale; and his grandchildren, Anthony Jr. and Haley Taylor and Justin and Cory Wyatt. He is also survived by his brothers, William Hale and Clifton Hale; his sisters, Frances Bratton, Patricia Nunes, Virgina Berry, Vivian Stoufer, and Doris Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main Street, Jacksonville, Ark. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Arkansas Funeral Care. Interment will be at 12 noon on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
