Lillian Marie O'Leary Carroll, 88, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Beaumont, died Monday, January, 21, 2013 at home. She was born on January 23, 1924, in San Antonio, to Frances Dunn O'Leary and Clarence Albert O'Leary. She had lived in Beaumont since 1949. Lillian was a retired kindergarten teacher at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School, Beaumont. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Lillian is survived by her son, John Lee Carroll and his wife, Tiziana P. Carroll; and granddaughters, Maggie, Molly, and Maddy, all of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Mabel O'Leary of Columbus, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick H. Carroll; her brothers, James, Lawrence, Paul Leo, Johnny, Clarence, and Louis O'Leary; and her sister, Lucille O'Leary McBride. A Christian Vigil for Mrs. Carroll will be at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, January 25, 2013, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont, Texas 77705. Special thank you to her many dear friends in Beaumont, her Green Meadow Neighbors and her new friends in Little Rock for your tender love and care; she loved you all.
