Marie Benton

Marie Benton, 84, longtime resident of Camden, AR went home to glory on Thursday, January 24, 2013. She was born on August 13, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Gladys Bussell Anderson; and husband, Lincoln Benton. She was a long time owner, operator of Marie's Beauty Shop on Maul Road. She was loved by many and was always doing things for others. She was an excellent cook and won many awards. She is survived by three sons, Gary (Pam) Benton, Ric (Dana) Benton and Patrick Benton. She is also survived by aunts, Hester, Floy, Jessie Cline and Lilly Mae who wer more like sisters to her. We would like to give special thanks to the staff of Sherwood Nursing Home who were like family. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Proctor Funeral Home.
