Peter E. King, 66 of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, 21 January 2013 with his loving wife by his side. A retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, he enjoyed a career flying WC-130s with the Hurricane Hunters in Puerto Rico, C-130 gunships in Thailand, and c-130s out of Little Rock AFB. He also flew c-23A Sherpas out of Zweibruecken AB, Germany and a final tour of duty in England. After retiring, he continued flying with Continental Express, then 747s with AIA and finally Citation Xs with NetJets. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet; his daughter, Jennifer; son-in-law, Mikel and grandson, Benjamin Peter from South Carolina; his son, Peter E. "Chip" King, Jr. of Oregon; three brothers and their wives; seven nephews and nieces, and four great-nephews and nieces; his two beloved dogs, and a host of wonderful friends. He will be put to rest in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pulaski County Humane Society.
