Ida L. Ellis

Ida L. Ellis, 89, of Whitton passed Tuesday morning at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Ida was born March 25, 1923, in Tyronza to the late Eddy Lee and Artie B. Turner Jones. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Whitton area, but lived the last 13 years in Wynne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold W. Jones. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Jeff Sisk of Wynne, Sue and David Peridore of Tyronza; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Margaret Rye of Rogers, Danny and Reda Ellis of Whitton, and Ricky and Lynn Ellis of Caraway; 11 grandchildren, Timothy Rye, Cindy Bailey, Danny Jr., Dusty, Joe, Corey, Cannon Ellis, Renae McCullar, Rhonda Buie, Kevin Cecil, and Skyla Duncan; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of family, friends, and her beloved dog J.C.
