Katherine Leona Farrow

Katherine Leona Farrow, 79, of Cabot, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. She was born April 29, 1933, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. to the late James Eugene and Catherine Ollie Avant Thompson. Mrs. Farrow was an active member of the Christian Church in Beebe where she was involved in children's Sunday School classes and producing the Church programs. She was also a member of The Lady's of the Church which worked to raise money for children in third-world countries. Mrs. Farrow enjoyed writing religious poetry and wrote the story of her life. Above all, Mrs. Farrow was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Farrow was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Collins, Mariam Lowe and Nadine Thompson. Mrs. Farrow is survived by her husband, James Elmore Farrow of Cabot; three daughters, Kathy Green and Karen Linder, both of Jacksonville and Karol Binyon of Ward; a sister, Fannie Murphy of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Christopher Armstrong of Sherwood, Jason Cole of Cabot, Amie Crow of Cabot, Natasha Paintin of Cabot and Michael Linder of Jacksonville as well as five great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Doug Fry officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home (501) 843-5816.
