Charles E. Reeves Sr.

Charles E. Reeves Sr., age 65, of Malvern passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at HSC Medical Center. He was born October 14, 1947, in Malvern, the son of Clarence and Gladys Robertson Reeves. Charles was a member and Deacon at Cooper Assembly of God and co-teacher of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal's and Razorback fan; he also loved to go fishing and hunting. Other than his parents, his brother, Ralph Reeves precedes him in death. Left to cherish his memory, wife, of 41 years, who he married on June 5, 1971, Mary Cranford Reeves; son, Dr. Chuck Reeves, Jr. (Kathy) of Hot Springs; daughter, Magan Lapp (Keith) who are Missionaries in Taipei City, Taiwan; sister, Ruby Kimbrell of Harp; grandchildren, Kailey Reeves, Molly Reeves Elliot, and one expected in May; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, February 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 2 at 10 a.m. at Cooper Assembly of God Church with Reverend Mark Ohms officiating. Interment will be at Big Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Kimbrell, James Cranford, Monroe Cranford, Shane Cranford, Charlie Cranford, Kenny Cranford, Benji Cranford, and Chris Cranford. Honorary Pallbearers are Tonya Kimbrell, Brenda Garner, Tammy Cloud, Atrese Cranford, Edie Kimbrell, Gary Garner, Shawn Cloud, Freda Cranford, Kayla Cranford, Daniel Felts and Tom Bynum.
