Nathaniel A. Cooper, of Little Rock, died in a tragic house fire June 30th. He was born December 26, 1976 in Boise, Idaho. He was a good friend to all who knew him, a dearly treasured son and beloved twin brother. Our grief is compounded by knowing that Nathan died trying to save his dog, Juno. Nathan grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Otter Creek, Arkansas. He graduated from UALR majoring in psychology and IT. Nathan loved to fish, snow ski, ride his bike, cook, follow politics, work with computers, engage in movie criticism, and gather with his family and friends. Nathan was a fearless skier regaling in black diamond runs and moguls. He would happily surf fish in the Pacific Ocean in the midst of crashing waves with his father and brother. As youngsters, Zachary and Nathan loved to skate board and tool around on their scooters in Otter Creek. He is survived by his mother, Glenda J. Cooper of Little Rock, his father, Dr. Curt Cooper (Sarah) of Trinidad, Calif., his very special twin brother, Zachary M. Cooper (Elena) of San Francisco, his aunts, Pamela Keesee (Steve), Jana Gregory (Jim), his uncle, Jeff Johnson (Michelle), his grandmother, Louise Johnson, his great aunt, Imogene Johnson and his many dear cousins: Teri Fields (Mauricio), Jillian Mayes (Josh), Jacie Gregory, Hunter Johnson and Cruz Johnson. His friends were legend. We thank them for their help, love and memories in this difficult time. He will be remembered and interred in Eureka, California by his immediate family. His sweet soul will be missed. He is at peace. We would like to thank the UAMS ICU unit for the devoted care and comfort of our son the last day of his life. Memorials may be made the Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for animals at CARE, P.O. Box 7604; Little Rock, Arkansas 72217-7604. To sign the online guestbook, go to www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
