Betty Jo Lilly

Betty Jo Lilly, 83, of Eudora, Ark. died Tuesday, July 2, 2013. She was born in Oak Grove, La. a daughter of the late Joe and Minnie Minor Beeson. Mrs. Lilly attended beauty school in Monroe, La. and was a hairdresser in Eudora, Ark. for 57 years. She had a passion for growing flowers in her yard. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Charles Faye Brown Jr., and W.B. Lilly; brothers, Rueben Beeson, James Woodard Beeson, Joe Willard Beeson, Milton Beeson and Floyd Beeson; sister, Mary Nell Beeson Bean; grandson, Joseph Daniel Brown. Survivors include her two sons and their wives, Charles Michael Brown and Connie of Hatfield, Ark. and Milton Lindsey Brown and Holly of Eudora, Ark.; grandchildren Michael Lindsey Brown, Jeffrey Hicks Brown, Charles Vincent Brown, Allen Ellis and Michael Ellis; nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10-11 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, prior to the 11 a.m. service at Eudora Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Tarver officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Cashion, Joe Serio, Frank Serio, Jeff Sunsin, Scottie Connell and Don Jones. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund, Eudora, Arkansas.
