James Timothy "Tim" Collins, age 57, passed away in his home in Hot Springs, Ark., July 4, 2013. He was born Jan. 30, 1956 in Little Rock, Ark. to George and Doris Collins. Tim was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. He established Wendy's in Southern Texas and was a previous owner of Backyard Burgers. Tim also worked for Harley Davidson and loved selling and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father, George Collins and his grandmother, Thomasene Caple. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Doris Simmons Collins Dodd and Randy Dodd; brother, George Donald Collins; daughter, Nikki Lynn Collins Endres; son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Melissa Collins; three granddaughters, Braelynn Branson, Avery Endres and Francesca Gosenson; two grandsons, Bailey Branson and Hunter Endres and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, July 8 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with memorial services beginning at 2 p.m. Bro. Richard Hamlin and Bro. Sean Collins will be officiating. Family Comments: Tim Loved to cook, play golf, read and watch sports. He never met a stranger. Tim was the kindest, most selfless man you would ever meet.
