Joseph Savoy Jr.

JOSEPH SAVOY JR., 73, of North Little Rock, died on Friday, June 28, 2013. Joe was a Korean War Veteran, published author, and family man. He was most proud of his four grandchildren, Chris Thennes, Ashley Habig, Andrew and Seth Savoy. His legacy includes a great granddaughter, Isabella Thennes. Joe was an advocate of Cajun French heritage and taught Cajun French. He was co-author of "The Cajun Home Companion" a Cajun French primer. Joe will be missed by his friends at the Hays Community Center where he never met a stranger and chaired the "Liars' Table". He is survived by his wife Edna and children, Lisa Savoy-Zetterlund and husband, Rob; and Scott Savoy and wife, Alicia.
