Claudette Ann Schmidt

Claudette Ann Schmidt, nee Williams, 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, born October 31, 1934 in Pascola, Missouri, passed away on June 28, 2013, in Columbia, Illinois, after a battle with lung cancer. Mrs. Schmidt was a retired bookkeeper for L & S Concrete and a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy Orland and Sissy Williams, her brothers Roy E. Williams, Larry M. Williams and a nephew Jeffrey Williams. Surviving are her children Teena (John) Rachels of Columbia, Ill. and Bob (Chere) Schmidt of Sherwood, Arkansas. Grandchildren Will Schmidt of Sherwood, Ark. and Evann Rachels of Atlanta, Ga. Nephew Michael (Pat) Williams of Zirconia, N.C., nieces Kimberly (Tony) Fletcher of Monticello, Ark. and Kara (Jimmy) Sawyer of Wilmar, Ark. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or your favorite charity. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, North Little Rock, Ark. with Rev. Caret Stone, Rector officiating.
