Katherine Fiser Adams Eggensperger, 95, of Fayetteville, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2013. She was born June 15, 1918 in Morrilton, Ark, to Headley and Maude Fiser. She is predeceased by two husbands, Milburn Adams and Dr. Harold Eggensperger, her parents, three brothers, Poindexter Fiser, Paul Fiser, Harold Fiser; and one sister, Maude White. She is survived by her five children, Frances Gibson Ross (Ed) of Fayetteville, Pat Armbrust (Ron) of Fayetteville, Mil Adams of Conway, Kathy Meyer (Steve) of Springdale, and Stephen Eggensperger (Tami) of Cabot; grandchildren Gip Gibson (Kelly) of Tulsa, Kim Renner (Kevin) of Fayetteville, Greg Gibson (Libby) of Fayetteville, Kelli James (Tony) of Tulsa, Druanne Stockland (Jim) of Fayetteville, Dave Armbrust of Fayetteville, Bryan Adams (Christy) of Conway, Brandon Adams (Brandi) of Jonesboro, Matt Meyer (Jennifer) of Springdale, Adam Meyer (Ashley) of Greenland, Mitchell Meyer of Fayetteville, and Caleb and Noah Eggensperger of Cabot; and 24 great-grandchildren. Known to her family and friends as "Nanny" she made her home the last two years at Katherine's Place at Wedington, a longterm care facility named in her honor. The spirit of the Lord was very evident in the blessings of love and care received from each care provider within the home. She considered these special angels to be family. Nanny took the fruits of a life filled with favor to turn and bless others in her daily walk. She touched many lives through faithful prayer and her spirit of optimism. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and its Asbury Sunday School Class, and was a member of PEO Chapter DG. A memorial service will be held in the sanctuary of Central United Methodist Church Friday July 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Steve Pulliam officiating. There will be a Committal Service at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton, Ark. at 4 p.m. following the service. Casual attire is encouraged at both services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church Youth Ministry, 6 West Dickson Street, P.O. Box 1106, Fayetteville, Ark. 72702.
