Launa Rae Hearn

Launa Rae Hearn, 74, of Bryant passed away on July 8th, 2013. She was born on December 4th, 1938 to the late Buster Amos Dunn and Lola Norene (McKinsey) Dunn in Bradford, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by her sister Rozella McGehee. Launa was a school teacher who retired from the Bryant School District after many years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Bryant. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jerry of Bryant; her children, DeLynn (Buryl Dunlap) Hearn of North Little Rock and Keaton (Dawn) Hearn of Bryant; her brother, Walker (Kerie) Dunn; her sisters, Twila Griggs of Hughes and Deanna (James) Carty of Fort Smith; her grandchildren, Dalton Hearn, Grant Hearn and Rex Hudson Hearn; brother-in-law, Billy McGehee of Star City; and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 12th, 2013 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Phillip Miller officiating. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander on Thursday, July 11th, 2013.
