Eunice Lee Jones

EUNICE LEE JONES, 78, of Little Rock, Ark., received her wings on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. She's preceded in death by her parents, Hosea and Margaret (Childs) Akins. She was employed by Alexander Sanitarium, Moton High School in Marianna, Ark., and Jacksonville Jr. High School (Northside). Her loving survivors include: her husband of 54 years, Rev. Marquis E. Jones I; daughters, Margaret R. Johnson (Jerry) and Xerlotta L. Jones-Sanders; son, Marquis E. Jones II (D. Christia); grandchildren, Veronica Sanders, Rhonda Sanders, Grant E. Broadway and Mason A. Jones; brothers, Henri D. Akins I of Arkansas and Dr. Willie B. Boone (Diane) of California; three great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and special friends. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, July 20, 2013, 11 a.m., at Second Baptist Church, 1709 John Barrow Road, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark. Family visitation will be on Friday, July 19, 2013, 7:30-8:30 p.m., at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S.
