Carolyn Evans, 63 of England, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Born July 30, 1949 in Little Rock, AR. Departed to her heavenly home, July 16, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Dorothy Lakey and baby brother, Timothy Lakey. She leaves behind her cherished husband of 47 years, Norman; two sons, Greg (Sandra) and Chris Evans, all of England; two sisters, Marilyn Copeland of Little Rock, and Dottie Lakey of Bryant; one brother, Michael Lakey of Bryant; two grandchildren, Anna and Hunter Evans; and precious dog, Molly, all of England and also a host of relatives and friends. She was a lifelong member of County Line Missionary Baptist Church where she spent many years as VBS director, Sunday School teacher, and church camp sponsor, while her health allowed. She devoted 26 years as church secretary for First Baptist Church in England. After a long battle with her health, she is now in the presence of her Lord. The family extends a special thanks to Baptist Health Emergency Room and ICU South in Little Rock, for the wonderful and compassionate care shown during her stay. Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. at County Line Missionary Baptist Church.
