Patsy Ann Crowder (DeCuir), 76, died on June 12, 2013 at her home in The Woodlands, Texas. Patsy was born on July 6, 1936, to William "Willie" DeCuir and Edna "Edith" DeCuir in North Little Rock, Ark. Patsy was raised in North Little Rock and graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1954. She also attended Little Rock University, graduating in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Later that same year, she was married to Charles Crowder, also from North Little Rock. Charlie's career took Patsy and their family to many locations, from New York to California, but Little Rock remained home to many of her relatives and friends and Patsy and her family returned to Arkansas many times over the years to enjoy holidays and vacations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her brothers, Bennet Decuir and Henry DeCuir; and her sister, Billie Louise Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Rausch; son, Scott Crowder; grandson, Dylan Crowder; nephews, Larry Johnson and Tony Johnson; her cousin, Jesse Linam; and many dear friends. A graveside service will be held at Edgewood Memorial Park in Levy on July 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. Our love for Patsy and the unconditional love she shared with us will remain in our hearts forever.
