Florence Navra, 93, of North Little Rock, passed away, Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was born in Columbia County, Ark. to the late Sylvan and Mae Wreyford Liddick. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Joe Navra, Jr., three sisters, Merle Story, Daisy Harvill and Bonnie Munn. Florence was a member of Temple B'Nai Isreal. She retired from AT&T and Teletype. She volunteered at Red Cross for 50 year at the south end zone first aid at War Memorial Stadium with special friend, Francis Higgins, also volunteered at St. Vincent, 2nd floor Surgery Waiting area with 10, 699 volunteer hours. Florence was an active member of the Teletype Pioneer Huggy Bear for several years. She is survived by her son Robert Navra Sr., and wife, Teresa; two grandsons, Robert "Bobby" Navra, Jr. and wife, Jennifer and Jeremy Navra and wife, Trisha; great-grandchildren, Shawn Navra, Kaitlyn Navra, Christopher Taylor, Kristopher Hall and Riley Hammer; special niece Sandy Hardy and husband, Wayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that were all very special to her. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Rest Hills Memorial Park with Rabbi Barry Block officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). The family expresses special thanks to the nurses and staff on the 200 Hall at Premiere Health and Rehab Center.
