Doris King McPherson

Doris King McPherson, 86 was born to Herschel and Connie Garner Clark on September 20, 1929 in Dewey, Arkansas and passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Searcy, Arkansas. Mrs. McPherson was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Searcy. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the Lightle Center in Searcy. She is preceded in death by her first husband Robert V. King of whom passed away in 2000, her parents and a sister, Wanda Phifer. She is survived by her husband Wayne McPherson, a son Timothy King (Kelly) of Sacramento, California, a daughter Paula Datz (Craig) of Columbia, Missouri, four grandsons, James Paul King, Ryan Clark King, Evan Frederick Datz, Carter Allan Datz, two step-daughters, Sandra K. Badner of Fresno, California, Debra Nielson (John) of Hayward, California, two brothers, Grant Clark and Alan Clark, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. Internment will be Private.
