Margie Wayne Brown Homard

Margie Wayne Brown Homard, was Guidance Counselor at Parkview High School, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and resided at 10 Brandywine Lane, Little Rock, Ark. She is survived by her husband Richard B. Homard. Margie was preceded in death by her late parents Elmer H. Brown and Gusta Hughes Brown, sisters and brother-in-law Carol and Noel Collins, and Carrie and Jeff Gaylor. Margie earned a BS degree in Business from Harding University and MS in Counselor Education and 30 hours above a Master's from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was counselor in Hot Springs and Little Rock. She was a member of Bendemeer Caldron, Square Rounders Club, Twosday Niters, The Dance Club, and several bridge clubs. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock, Ark. (501)224-8300. Visitation will be immediately after the service at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Roselawn Memorial Park.
