Billy Lemmer

Billy "Bill" Lemmer, 71, of Little Rock passed away from complications of dementia July 23, 2013. Born July 4, 1942 in North Little Rock, he was the son of Billie and Margaret Hoffman Lemmer. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, and a grandson, Kent. Survivors are his wife of 20 years, Barbara; daughter Tammy; sons Danny and Arron; his mother, Margaret Justice; sisters, Sue, Frances and Barbara (Dale) and a host of nieces and nephews. While in the service he was in the Air Police. Later he worked in management for various guard companies including Wells Fargo and Pinkerton. He retired from Arkansas State Child Support Enforcement. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Rev. Harriett Akins-Banman officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. this evening (Friday) at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, (501) 661-9111. The family wishes to especially thank Dr. Michael Stout for the care of Billy and support he gave to me (Barbara) while I took care of Bill.
