John C. Jones

JOHN C. JONES, 67, of Sherwood, died peacefully in his home on Friday, July 26, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Nelda Jones; his daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Russ Wilson of Farmington; his son and daughter-in-law, Mitch and Gale Long of North Little Rock; his daughter-in-law and her husband, Brenda and Tim Mauldin of Sherwood; four grandchildren of whom he was very proud, Cody Wilson, Ashley, Savannah and Miranda Long; as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Sid and Birdie Mae Jones; and two brothers, Robert and James Jones. He was a member of North Hills Baptist Church, the Arkansas Railroad Club and a retired employee from Sterling Paint Co. John will be missed by his many friends at Union Pacific, the Razorback Sub and Marine Museum, the Mark Twain and many other sites around North Little Rock where he has been a volunteer photographer for many years. His photos remain to show his love for people and photography. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark., 72116 (501-791-7400), with interment following at Sixteenth Section Cemetery near Cabot.
