Rose L. McClelland

Rose L. McClelland, age 82, passed away Friday July 26, 2013 in Conway. She was born Feb. 20, 1931 in Greenwood, Ark., the daughter of Henry and Agnes Johnson Ledbetter. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin McClelland, her parents, and her step father John Thrasher. She attended Buckner Baptist Church in Fayetteville, and was very proud of being a weight watchers instructor. She was a nurse and caregiver. She is survived by one sister Beckye Connell and her husband Bill of Lillian, Ala.; one brother Charles Ray Ledbetter and his wife Billie Sue of Springdale, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Ark., under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
