Marshall "Pud" Cecil Harris

Marshall "Pud" Cecil Harris, 85, of Tuckerman departed this life on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Harris Hospital in Newport. He was born September 30, 1927 in Tuckerman, the son of Joe and Gertrude McTeague Harris. Mr. Harris married Miss Olive Holloway on August 10, 1947. He enjoyed telling his son, Billy how to farm, spoiling his grandkids, and most of all loved spending time with his family. Mr. Harris was a Christian, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and loved playing pranks on his kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Gertrude Harris. Mr. Harris leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Olive; four sons, Jimmy Harris and wife, Beth of Searcy, Billy Harris and wife, Cathy of Tuckerman, Marcus Harris and wife, Dondi of Newport, and Benjy and wife, Kimberlie of Newport; three daughters, Pamela Redd and husband, Leon of Jacksonville, Trudy Powell and husband, Ray of Newark and Rhonda Reeves and husband, Jimmy of Tuckerman; one sister, Shirley Rogers of Florida; fourteen grandchildren, Susan Jeffries, Bryan Redd, Ray Powell, Jr., Johnny Powell, Kimberlie Huffman, Stephanie Boyce, Brittany Churchman, Caleb Reeves, Amanda Reeves, Hannah Reeves, Blake Harris, Anna Harris, Tyler Harris and Tara Harris; and nine great grandchildren, Hunter Redd, Nathan Redd, Cassidy Powell, Mason Powell, Jessie Huffman, James Huffman, Isaiah Huffman, Spencer Boyce, and Lacey Boyce; and a host of friends.
