Flora Louise Robertson

Flora Louise McVay Robertson, age 88, of Oppelo, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, June 8, 2013. She was born November 30, 1924 in Casa, Arkansas, a daughter of Alonzo McVay and Bertha Merrit McVay. She was the widow of Jolly D. Robertson, and was a homemaker and member of Oppelo Assembly of God. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Meyer and Phyllis Prickett both of Benton; three grandchildren, Teddy and Matt Battles of Chicago, Illinois and Rusty Prickett of Benton; six great-grandchildren, Milli Louise, Yates and Sarah Beth Prickett, all of Benton; August, Kylee and Wes Battles, all of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Jolly D. Robertson on May 4, 2013; her son, Darrell Robertson, her brother, Hershell McVay, and sister, Cricket Bromley. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Gene Tanner officiating. Burial will be at Casa Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
