Flora Allene Smith

Flora Allene Smith, age 82 of Jacksonville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Cabot, Arkansas. She was born on August 17, 1930 in Rector, Arkansas to the late Jess and Dora Jones. She is survived by her husband, Elder Ray Smith of Jacksonville; four sons, Randy (Joyce) Smith of Jacksonville, Rodney (Donna) Smith of Jacksonville, Reginald Smith of Beebe and Rory Smith of Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie Porter, Almeria Jackson and Mogene Gray, all of Paragould, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Cabot Nursing and Rehabilitation; the staff of Baptist Hospice along with all the friends in the community who have offered their prayers and support.
