Louis Gene Johnson

Louis "Gene" Johnson, 82, of Bigelow, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. He was born Jan. 10, 1931, son of A.L. and Lona Johnson of Bigelow. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn and son, Shannon Johnson. Gene served in the Korean War as a US Navy Sea Bee. He is survived by James Cabrera Johnson of Saipan; Connie and Armando Flores of Little Rock; Rita Johnson of San Antonio; Ramona Gibbons and Becky Lature of Bigelow; and Rita Caldwell of Morrilton; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the funeral home in Perryville. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Volman Cemetery.
