CARL W. RUSSELL, 71, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away March 9, 2013. He was born in Russellville, Ala. to the late Floyd and Missouri (Taylor) Russell. He was member of Thousand Hills Baptist Church of Little Rock, Ark. He was a district coordinator with Aflac for many years and in the insurance business for over forty years. Carl is survived by his wife, Barbara (Gullett) Russell, for over 51 years, a daughter Sharon (Russell) Nash, and husband Ryan, of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandsons, Kevin Flannagin, and wife Sandy (Kelso) Flannagin, and Jason Nash, all of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Grace, Ben and Teddy Flannagin, one brother James Russell, of Russellville, Ala, two sisters, Margaret Wiles and Martha Vandiver, both of Russellville, Ala., as well many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Adrian Russell. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013, Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., (501)224-8300, with Brother Jay Lea officiating. Burial will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -1 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
