Annie Margaret Chadick Wilson

Annie Margaret Chadick Wilson, 82, of Humphrey, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in White Hall, Arkansas. Annie was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Porter R. Chadick and Ellen Acklin Chadick on July 13, 1930. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School and attended Texas State College for Women. She began her teaching career at Arkansas County's historical Vallier School and also taught at Humphrey Public School. Later she stayed at home with her children and worked in the family farm business with her husband, Joe Lawrence Wilson. She enjoyed being active in church, loved living in the Humphrey community and enjoyed the company of the Birthday Club ladies. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stuttgart. Annie is survived by her children, Dr. Richard R. Wilson (Victoria) of Humphrey and Ellen Porter McNulty (Phillip) of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, Stokley "Kit" Gray of New Orleans, Louisiana, Sara Beth Cotton (Jerry) of Humphrey, Nathan Wilson of Xianyang, China, and Phillip McNulty Jr. of Hot Springs; two great-grandchildren, Lillian Margaret and Joseph Issac Cotton; her sister-in-law and dear friend, Bonnie Chadick; and her dear cousin, Deborah Kay Moore. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lawrence Wilson; and her brother, Porter Acklin Chadick. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. David Bush, are 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart.
