Connie C. Hedgecock

Connie Drake Hedgecock, 88, of Little Rock, formerly of Benton and Conway, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2013. Born in Faulkner County (Conway) on September 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John Drake and Ruth May Drake. Connie retired from Safeway Stores after 33 years of service. She had been a member of Rose Hill Church of the Nazarene for the past 38 years. Preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, George Hedgecock, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters: Judy Gibson (Jim) and Sandra Priest (Charles), five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and a host of special nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday (today) March 15, 2013 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Comeans officiating.
