Helen M. King

Helen M. King age 96, of Desha, AR passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Batesville. She was born March 2, 1917 in Fayetteville the daughter of Odus and Essa Clark Brooks. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. King. Survivors include daughter, Betty Carole Simmons and husband, Bob of Desha, Ark.; one granddaughter, Tracy McFerran of Desha, Ark.; two sisters, Betty Riley of North Canton, Ohio and Veta Boatright of Fayetteville, Ark. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ray Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
