Leila Hamilton Sims

Leila Hamilton Sims, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born in Fordyce, Ark. to the late Archie and Blanche Hamilton. Leila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd H. Sims, two sisters and one brother. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She enjoyed having her family get together. Leila will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Norman Watson (Carol), John Watson; two daughters, Nancy Peters (Gary) and Debra Miller (Phil); two stepsons, Ralph Watson and Stephen Sims; six grandchildren, Carman Stump (Heath), Daniel Watson, Garrett Peters (Stephanie), Skeet Peters (Jordan), Miles Miller and Josh Miller; three great-grandchildren Luke and Will Stump and Garrison Peters; and her brother, Edward Hamilton (Carolyn) and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400). The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., Saturday prior to the service. Interment will be 12 noon, Monday, March 18, 2013 at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery.
