Thomasene Caple

Thomasene (Tommie) Caple, 93, passed away in her home in Hot Springs, AR March 18, 2013. Born November 30, 1919 in Gurdon, AR to Clarence and Cora Nix. She was predeceased by her husband and father of her children, Elbert Simmons, and her second husband, Alvin Caple; two sisters, Jackie Wells and Lucille Turner; and one son, Kenneth Earl Simmons. She is survived by on daughter, Doris Simmons Collins Dodd, and son-in-law, Randy Dodd; four grandchildren, George D. Collins, James (Tim) Collins, Kenneth Lee Simmons, and Dena Faye Simmons; two great-grandchildren, Nikki Collins and Timothy Sean Collins; five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Imogene Freeman and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Tommie lived in Benton, AR for 50 years, and the last 43 years on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, AR, where her hobbies included fishing and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith.
