Wayne Stuart Kaplan

Wayne Stuart Kaplan, 70, of Cabot, went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 22, 2013. He was born Saturday, April 25, 1942 in Owatonna, Minn. to the to late Stanley and Lorene Hubble Kaplan. Mr. Kaplan had a bachelor's degree in business and a minor in engineering, he was a consultant for Maybellene and he loved golf, fishing, hunting and reading. He was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Bryant. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Kaplan. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Hampton Kaplan of the home; sons, Jerrod Kaplan of Phoenix, Ariz., Derek Kaplan and his wife Zohreh of Edmondton, Canada and Jeff Moye and his wife Alex of Olive Branch, Miss.; daughter, Kim Young and her husband Greg of Searcy; sister, Diane Lageson of Owatonna, Minn.; six grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2013 in the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy (501)268-3546, with Brother Jerry Taylor officiating.
