Billy R. Noland, 75, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. He was born in Albany, KY to the late Clyde and Jessie Harbor Noland. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paris and Flave Noland and one sister, Toni Noland. Bill was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the U. S. Air Force after 20 years of service. Bill was an associate Professor at Little Rock Air Force Base for the University of Arkansas and was the Human Resource Director for Timex and J.A. Riggs. He was a member and Deacon at Central Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marjorie Calhoun Noland; his children; David Scott Noland of Seattle, WA, Billie O'Quin (Roger) of Little Rock and Kay Gilmore (Doug) of Jonesboro; six grandchildren and their spouses, Sydney Gilbert (Luke), Chris O'Quin (Sasha), Noland Gilmore (Sara), Logan Gilmore, Alana Gilmore and Miles Noland; one great-grandchild, Andrew Gilbert; his sister, Dimple Daughtery; and two brothers, Clifford Nolan (Mary Lou) and Bob Nolan (Darlene); and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangement made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400). The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. one hour prior to the service at the church.
