Joyce Dean Leonard, 78, of Cabot, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. She was born August 23, 1934 in Lonoke to the late James and Venia Parker Havens. Joyce lived a life of dedication in all that she did. She served her church, alongside her husband, Pastor Ben Leonard at Victory Baptist Church for the past 23 years. She was very dedicated to her profession of Psychiatric Nursing and dearly loved her family, children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. oyce is survived by her husband, Ben Leonard of Cabot; two daughters, Karen Hardcastle of Jacksonville and Sherry Parks of Little Rock; two step-sons, Robert and Phillip Leonard, both of Monticello; eight grandchildren, Joshua Hardcastle of Searcy, Audrey Fendley of North Little Rock, David Leonard of Nashville, Tennessee, Amy Becker of Monticello, Seth Farler of Little Rock, and Emily, Keeli and Connor Leonard of Monticello, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Sheffer of Little Rock and Faye Hill of Conway; and three brothers, Jimmy and Leon Havens, both of Greenbrier and Paul Havens of Conway. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the church, with Brothers Rex Newman, Blake Martin and Hezekiah Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
