Mary E. Hatfield

Mary E. Hatfield, age 58, went home to be with the Lord April 29, 2013. She is survived by her children, Rick (Stephanie) Kirk and Teresa (Ray) Edwards, both of Lonoke; sisters, Ann (Ron) Wannemacher of Carlisle, Shirley (Jack) Masters of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Carol (Terry) Khor of Papillion, Nebraska, Wilma (Jerry) Foster of Fremont, Indiana and Wanda (the late Rev. Bernard) Allen of Russellville, Kentucky; several loving nieces and nephews; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who are her world, and her faithful, special little dog Sammy who stayed by her side. Preceding in death are her parents, Bill and Esther Powers and two brothers, Bill Jr. and Sonny James Powers. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a Care Giver of many in the Carlisle area. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke with visitation starting one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Old Carlisle Cemetery. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
