Lewis Jordan, Sr.

Lewis Jordan, Sr., 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas, entered eternal peace on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Lewis Jordan was born September 20, 1949 in Grady, Arkansas, to the late Willie (Tobe) and Bernice (Babe) Jordan. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Jordan, Sr. and a grandson, Jacobie Jordan. He leaves to cherish in memory two daughters, Rosezella Jordan and Vernitta Jordan, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two sons, Matthew Dillard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Lewis Jordan Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Linda (Ferdie) Simpson, of Detroit, Michigan and Gloria Scott, of Altheimer, Arkansas; seven brothers, Willie (Betty) Jordan Jr., Rubin (Mamie) Jordan, Sr., Charlie (Rose) Jordan, Albert (Shirley) Jordan, of St. Louis, Missouri, Edward (Albertha) Jordan, Vernon Jordan, and Wilford (Donna) Hampton, of Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. with a Family Hour from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Grady, Arkansas. Burial will be in Randolph/Carthan Cemetery in Grady by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:15 a.m. until time of service.
