Gladys E. Pugh

Gladys Pugh, 91, of El Dorado passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lottie Nelson Harper; her husband, James L. Pugh; two sons, Doyle A. Blocker and David M. Blocker; and one brother. She is survived by four daughters, Mary C. Fillmore, Betty A. Havard both of El Dorado, Jane E. Cummings of Prescott, and Julia M. Rogers of Buckner; four sons, Jerry C. Blocker of Texarkana, Texas, Larry D. Blocker of Horn Lake, Miss., Michael A. Blocker of Altha, Fla., and Randy L. Blocker of Forestville, Md.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 9 a.m. until service time at Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Gurdon, under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon. The family will meet after the service at the home of Gladys Pugh.
